    Any parents and family members interested in sustainability in our district are invited to join us this month, in addition to our sustainability chairs. Special guests Matt Gillingham (Deputy Superintendent), Leah Choi (School Board President), and Eric Laliberte (School Board Vice President) will join us to hear what parents want from a district-wide sustainability policy. The LWPTSA Sustainability Committee is made up of local sustainability chairs at schools across the district. The committee has worked on a range of issues, including food recovery, waste reduction, composting, green cleaning, no-idle zones, herbicide-free schools, and engaging and supporting students in their efforts to combat climate change and create a livable planet.
