Studio East - Intro to Broadway

When: Wednesdays 2:30PM-3:45PM (Jan. 10th, Jan. 24th, Jan. 31st, Feb. 7th, Feb. 14th, Feb 21st, Feb. 28th, Mar. 6th, Mar. 13th, Mar 20th)

Minimum 5 students, Maximum 12 students
Studio East has provided high-quality theater classes, workshops, and productions to local schools for over 30 years. With experienced, best in the biz teaching artists, we are excited to offer drama programming this year for preK-12th grade! With Studio East, your students are given a safe environment to learn confidence, self-esteem, team-building, responsibility, time management, literacy, public speaking, perseverance, and 21st century skills through a wide variety of performing arts classes. All of our classes end in a performance where friends and family are invited to see what the students have learned that quarter.
Intro to Broadway
Learn the skills it takes to be a Broadway performer in this class where we’ll learn singing, acting, and dancing techniques. Then we’ll choose a mini-Broadway musical to rehearse and prepare for a presentation on the final day of class. Past favorites have included Beauty & the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, and Newsies.
