Introduction

2020-2021 School Year

Remote learning poses a lot of challenges. However, we are committed to bringing programs that our kids and teachers liked in the past back, even if it's in a virtual environment and not in person. 

This Fall, we will be offering 3 classes per grade. 

All of the classes are focusing on watercolor to make it easier for parents to organize materials. The material lists are below. (2 sheets of watercolor paper were supplied by PTSA in remote learning box.)

Volunteering

Each of the classes can only be held if we have 2 district-approved PTSA members attend. There is no need to teach or anything, we just need you to monitor the class. The Smart with Art instructors will do all the teaching.

Need help with art supplies? The Alcott PTSA has funds designated to support access to programing and school materials for all students. Please reach out to Ms. Jones (Alcott Counselor) andrjones@lwsd.org for assistance.

We know a lot of students are eager to share their artwork since showing their work during the session can be really hard. We want to create a space in the yearbook and the website for them to show their art. Please upload your artwork in the link below.
