How to Participate

  1. Download/Open the pdf of the current Math Challenge HERE
  2. Solve as many problems as you can (please pay attention to the minimum number of problems to solve successfully for your grade). We encourage you to discuss strategies and solutions with your parents and siblings and attempt as many questions as possible. Check out this helpful link Problem Solving Strategies - Math Challenge (mathinaction.org).
  3. Submit your solutions by the due date through this Google Form.
  4. Check Solution online. It will be available on the solution date by 3pm PST.

Awards

There will be a lucky draw for all kids who get all answers correct for their grade level. Winners will receive an award and their name will be published in Orca Newsletter.
  • Kinder & First Grade: solve at least 3 problems.
  • Second & Third Grade: solve at least 7 problems.
  • Fourth Grade and above: solve at least 12 problems.
