2026  Science Fair:  Celebrating Women in STEM

Thank you for your interest in our 2026 Science Fair - one of the most popular and highly anticipated events in our school community!

This year’s theme honors Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in celebration of Women’s History Month. Throughout the fair, students and families will explore and learn about the incredible contributions women have made to medicine, physics, biology, environmental science, engineering, and so much more. From groundbreaking discoveries to life-changing innovations, we’ll discover how women have helped shape and enhance humanity.

  • Writing essays about inspiring women in STEM

  • Participating in interactive games that highlight their achievements

  • Engaging in thoughtful discussions and hands-on learning experiences

🎉 Interactive Fun for Everyone!

The fair will feature fun hands-on interactive booths hosted by:

❤️ Giving Back

In honor of this year’s theme celebrating the accomplishments of women in science, our Alcott leadership students will be selling pizza, cookies, and snacks to raise funds for a local women’s shelter. Here, we come together as a community to learn, to give, and to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women who need our support most.

🎭 Entertainment

During the second half of the fair, we’ll gather together for a fun, kid-friendly live show by Mad Science. Through this engaging performance, we hope to inspire our students to see science as a collaborative community endeavor - one where creativity, imagination, and a passion for discovery come together to shape compassionate, innovative, and truly inspirational scientists.

Get ready for an inspiring, hands-on, and fun-filled celebration of science, curiosity, and creativity! We can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s Science Fair, where learning, discovery, and the amazing accomplishments of women in STEM will be celebrated and honored.
