Great news for our young problem solvers! 

Math Kangaroo-an international math challenge focused on creative, kid-friendly puzzles-is happening in person at Alcott this year.

The in-person Alcott Math Kangaroo 2026 center is full, and registration for this center is now closed. if your child is not yet registered , please log in to your Math Kangaroo account to: 

  • Look for other nearby in-person centers, or

  • Register for the online/virtual contest. 

📅 Date: Thursday, March 19, 2026, 4:00 — 5:15 pm 
 
📍 Location: Louisa May Alcott Elementary (on campus) 
 
👦👧 Who: Open to all Alcott students grade K*–5. Older siblings of current Alcott students are also welcome to join.
 
* K students take grade 1 test; must know how to read and work independently. K students should register as grade 1. 
 
🗓 Registration window: Sept 15 – Dec 31, 2025 
💳 Fees: Math Kangaroo has a standard registration fee set by the organization — $18 per student.
