How to Use:
The word lists are divided by structure (spelling only or spelling and word meaning) and either grade level or difficulty level.
First, you should provide students with the word list that corresponds to their grade level. In general, its recommended lower elementary students begin with level One Bee, upper elementary students begin with level Two Bee, and middle school students begin with level Three Bee.
Students who master the study list for their grade level and difficulty level move on to the full 2022 Spelling Bee study list (i.e. the 2022 Full Word List). This list includes One Bee, Two Bee and Three Bee level words.
Round 1 will include words from or similar to the 450 word on the 2022 Study List. Round 2 may include words from the Full Word List/Champion Word List. This is up to the discretion of the Pronouncer.
