Snapology: Creature Creator Robotics

Grades K-2
Tuesdays | 4:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. | Starts 2/3/2026
Does your child love animals and building things? In Snapology’s Creature Creator Robotics class, students bring animal-inspired robots to life—from buzzing insects to playful dolphins and
powerful gorillas. As they build, code, and experiment, they’ll explore the fascinating intersection of nature and technology.
This one-of-a-kind program blends creativity, engineering, and teamwork—making it perfect for curious minds who love to learn through play.
What Students Will Learn
- Simple Machines in Action
Discover pulleys, wheels, and axles while building animal-themed robots—and recognize these machines in
everyday life. - Mechanical Engineering Concepts
Explore how axles, gears, and motors create movement, and experiment with different configurations to
understand how they work. - Introductory Programming
Use drag-and-drop coding to make robots respond to sensors, perform loops, and even make sounds—
building real programming skills in a fun, accessible way. - Teamwork & Collaboration
Work in small groups to plan, build, and problem-solve—developing respectful peer interactions and strong
communication skills.
