Chess Class (REGISTERED STUDENTS)

Description
  • Who: Grades 2-5
  • When:  Monday (weekly) from 4:00-5:30 PM
    • Nov 27th, Dec. 4th, Dec 11th, Jan 8th, 22nd, 29th, Feb 5th, Feb. 12th. Classes end right before mid-winter break. 
  • Cost:  $80/8 week program
  • Maximum of 20 students

Schedule:

  • Week 1-2: Chess Basics and Board Setup
  • Week 3-4: Fundamental Chess Tactics
  • Week 5-6: Strategy Building and Positional Play
  • Week 7-8: Mastering Endgames and Fun Mini-Tournament
 
Our instructor, Vivaan, is from Eastlake High School and a skilled chess player with a NWRS rating of 1600 and ~1900 on chess.com. As the Washington High School Champion in the premier division and second place winner at the Susan Polgar National Foundational Open, your child will learn from the best!
