math clubGoal of Alcott's Math Club is to nurture children’s interest in math by applying creative problem solving to questions from math competitions like Math Is Cool and Math Kangaroo.  Many students in Math Club go on to participate in math competitions in our state. Students typically participate in Math is Cool, Math Kangaroo, Knights of Pi Math Tournament, and a few others.

Math Club is conducted by Tesla STEM high school students in collaboration with Alcott PTSA.

In the Math Club meetups, we will cover several concepts and strategies. Some of the major topics include Probability, Geometry, Basic Algebra, Coordinate Plane, Venn Diagram, Rate, Decimals and Fractions, LCD and GCD.
